Welcome to the world of my cats.

JAKOB - b. June (?) 2007

Purrrrr...yes i have the loudest purr ever, or so I'm told. I was brought to Willow Vets with a nasty gash across my neck which had formed an abess. They operated on me and I had 9 stiches. I was only little - around 8 weeks old. I asked the nice people at Willow to phone Moya and ask if I could come and live with her as I had met her the day I came to the vets and she seemed a very nice lady. So the vets phoned her and I went to her house. The upright called Lori and her family visited. They fell in love with me - of course, who wouldn't, I'm so beautiful, cute and modest! I decided that I quite liked the idea of living at Lori's house where I have two playmates with four legs and lots of playmates with two. Not only is there Lori and her family but they sometimes have visitors and they play with me too. I am beginning to lick them into shape - I have established that I can sleep in any of the bedrooms, anyone of them will feed me or play with me. I have heard them say I am spoilt - moi? never! But I am very lucky my life could have been very very different had they not rescued me.

TUFTY - b.April 1996 d.March 2008

King Tufty is my name. Though I am abit of a mummy's boy (Lori) at heart. All this messing about by Jakob is beneath me. Though my mummy reckons she's caught me playing with his toys afew times but I tell her she must be mistaken after all she does wear contacts! I am nearly 11 years now and have lived with my mummy, Lori, since I was 6 weeks old. I like to play with mice and have brought them in for my mummy in the past but she doesn't seem to like them. I even brought in some live ones so she could learn to chase and catch them...but she hated that even more, I can't think why.

MISTY b. Aug 1990

Miow ilk! This is the one word I have managed to teach my uprights, its only taken them 17 years to finally understand what I was saying, do you think its my accent? I like all critters. The uprights have had several rodents over the years - I can't see what they see to fuss in them I'm much loveable and deserve their attention more. I wouldn't hurt a thing, live and let live's me motto. I have lived with Lori since I was 8 weeks old. I came from Aid for Animals. When Lori got me she didn't want me to be lonely so she took one of my brothers, Whisky, too. He got ill when he was about 6yrs and Lori was very upset when the only thing she could do was have him put to sleep. I missed my brother very much but I couldn't understand why Lori didnt like all my cat friends coming in to play and keep me company. In the end she got me a permanent friend - thats when Tufty came to live with us. I'm not sure what she was thinking when Jakob came but i have him sussed. He knows I am the grandmother cat and always moves out of my way at meal times letting me choose which bowl I would like to eat from. I am trying to teach him my tricks he is learning the word "moiw ilk".
