Spice

Spice

I am a cross Chinchilla/Burman and I was 15 years old when she came to Woodland.

I lived since birth as an only cat, belonging to an elderly couple. Unfortunately they had to move to sheltered accommodation and couldn't take me with them, so I went to Moya's. But not for long. Our dear friend and helper, Ronnie, fell in love with me and so I am now her very much loved and pampered pet.

Ron

The uprights say I'm senile but I still enjoy life in my own quiet way and love to lay either in the garden or conservatory to bask in any available sunshine.

Sadly, Ron, who was aged round 19 or 20 years, finally succumbed to old age in 2006 and is no longer with us. Naturally enough, he is missed dearly although the blow is softened by the knowledge that he had a long and contented life.

Benji

My name's Benji. I came to Woodland in 2002 when i was about 10 years old. I have a kidney problem that has to be watched.

Poor Benji died on the 24th June 2005 of kidney failure. He had lived at Woodland for about three years and sadly was only around 12 or 13 years (not old for a cat)when he died. He had lived kidney problem for several years.

Bobby

Dear Bobby sadly passed away on Thursday the 12th January 2006. As is always the case we feel very empty at losing our little friend but comforted knowing that he had been happy and had spent his last nine years with us as part of our family.
